Family Sunday School
We do everything together at Bethel! That may seem strange to those used to the "age graded" model, but it works great for us. You and your children are welcome to join us in Sunday School presented with the goal of building up the entire congregation. We do have a nursery available if you need to take a little one aside for diaper changes or they just need a break. We understand that kids aren't always quiet, and are prepared to speak over them if necessary!
Music
We strive to honor God with our music. We sing traditional hymns, contemporary Christian songs, and welcome special music. We want to do it well, and we want it to be beautiful, but avoid the "polish" that puts a person in the spotlight. God is the focus whether singing as a congregation or an individual.
Dress
There is no expected attire. Women wear dresses, slacks, jeans, as they see fit. Men (except for the dresses) wear much the same. You don't need a special outfit for Bethel.
Lord's Supper
We take the Lord's Supper (Communion) during the evening service on the first Sunday of the month quarterly. The Lord's Supper is restricted to members of Bethel as those who have put themselves under the discipline of the church. If you find yourself in attendance on the night we take the Lord's Supper, you will not be invited to participate, but we encourage you to watch and listen any way. (We really don't want to exclude you, so maybe you should talk to the pastor about becoming a member!)
